5 useful tips that will help you do better in school

Hello everyone!
Here are 5 useful tips that will help you do better in school

1.)   Read class notes before going to bed
  •  A lot of times in colleges or universities, teachers post lecture notes before class. What I found helpful was reading these notes before going to class. Doing so I knew what to expect in class and it actually helped me get better grades.

2.)   Study in advance
  •  I know this is something everyone says to do but trust me IT HELPS!! Studying for an exam the night before is not very helpful. So study for it at least two weeks before the exam. This way you have a lot of time to make a study schedule and be productive.

3.)   Be productive when studying
  •  Now just opening textbooks does not mean studying. The best way that helps me the most is to write and study. I know it takes time but it definitely makes stuff retain in your memory.

4.)   Wake up early and make a plan:
  •  Everyone likes being lazy sometimes but waking up early is a great habit to do better at school. It gives more time to plan out the day and be organized. Make a study plan and to-do list and follow it.

5.)   Recite notes out loud:
  •  I find reading my notes aloud very helpful. When I'm listening to what I read is when I pay more attention and actually understand what I read.

I hope these five tips help you guys out to do better in school since they have definitely helped me.

How to Overcome Procrastination

Procrastination is one of the major problems that many students struggle with. I honestly procrastinated a lot in the first two years of college but eventually, I got out of that habit (not completely 😂). Here are some tips that I found to be very helpful. Make a Checklist Making a checklist is good for keeping track of what needs to be done. It can help prioritize your to-dos. As you just start one or two of these smaller items you will in fact become ahead of schedule instead of giving yourself the chance to fall behind.
